Closing The Bones - Post Natal Treatment

Service Description

A traditional postnatal massage from South America lasting 2 hours from start to finish. The treatment can be carried out at any time in a womans life, but is traditionally carried out soon after giving birth. Initially we will have some calm time together to discuss your birth journey. Then when ready for the treatment,  a rebozo (scarf) is used to rock and wrap around the hips to help close the hips which widen during pregnancy and birth. The hips and belly are massaged which stimulates blood flow which in turn; cleans, renews, moves fluids, this may help with milk supply stimulation/lochia if upper back, chest and arms are included in treatment. It encourages balancing of hormones, immune system, toning muscles and tissue. This lasts for about 30 minutes. This is followed by relaxation and tea. An absolute must for all mums. Babies welcome. 

Cancellation Policy

Please ensure you allow at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel/move your appointment - we will need to charge you if unable to fill your spot with less notice. However we are super busy and mostly able to fill last minute slots via social media, so this is just a gentle policy and will only use only if we really need to - Namaste and thank you for booking in!
