I’m Bec. I provide small group nutrition workshops, I have been working as a fully qualified nutritionist for 11 years now. I specialise in plant based nutrition & healing through food instead of using pharmaceuticals. I am a full time athlete so food is my fuel. I am also a mum with a busy family life, so I understand the difficulties surrounding food and our busy lives.
Have you ever wanted to have all the confusing and contradictory nutrition advice explained in layman's terms? Would you like to understand the real impact of what we are eating on our overall health? How to make simple swaps, gather new ideas and create a healthy food foundation for you to plan your eating around? Then come and join us in this intimate 2 hour friendly and laid back workshop.
I aim to put the science behind food into everyday language so that no matter your current knowledge around food you will gain new nutritional information to really benefit you. The overall idea, to take away healthier food choices going forward that have a significant impact on your wellbeing.
The 2 hrs consist of...
1. Opening Talk from me covering -
Macro and Micro Nutrients
Personal calorie requirements, why a calorie isn't always a calorie.
Nutrition for gut health & why the quality of you microbiome controls and impacts EVERYTHING within your body.
Cell regeneration - What to add more of what to eliminate from your diet so you body works efficiently
How to test yourself for intolerances & foods that are negative to you and your own Microbiome - we are all different.
Mental health, emotional state and eating disorders and how these impact out food choices - this area of the talk will be approached with care and sensitivity
2. LIVE demonstration
Watch simple sauces, meals and teas being made.
3. Question and Answer Time
Try to think about what YOU need to know & make sure you get that from your workshop, there is never a silly question, the chances are, if you’re thinking it someone else is too.
